BETHLEHEM ART ASSOCIATION FALL SHOW UNDERWAY 53 Members’ Artworks on Display
The Bethlehem Art Association (BAA) announced the presentation of its Annual Fall Show, now “live” at the Bethlehem Public Library through November 30th.
Entries comprise 53 pieces in various media including oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, photography, and mixed media. The juror for the show, local artist Gary Shankman, will present awards at a reception on November 17th. Shankman, a full professor at Sage College, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Boston University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from American University.
Founded in 1966, BAA has members who range from novices to artists who have gained recognition working in oil, watercolor, pastel, pencil, ink, acrylic, photography, and sculpture. BAA offers artist demonstrations in a variety of media for artists of all skill levels. The BAA also provides scholarships to Bethlehem High School students. Each year, BAA grants a sponsorship award to a local gallery helping to support the Capital Region art community.
