MORE: High blood pressure is a leading risk factor for stroke and heart attack, among other chronic illnesses. Because it frequently has no symptoms, high blood pressure is known as “The Silent Killer.” Yet, it’s largely preventable. Participants in the Check It! Challenge have committed to monitoring their blood pressure throughout the program, and have received information on various topics throughout the four months of the Check It! Challenge. The May Webinar will explore the relationship between mental health and well-being, and high blood pressure, and offer ways to manage stress.
