Name: Free Class - Realistically Recycle!
Date: March 26, 2026
Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM EDT
Event Description:
Realistically Recycle!  Bethlehem's Updated Recycling Rules and Tools
All ages! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Free but pre-register.

The Town of Bethlehem has some new recycling rules and tools that can help us all "Recycle Right" (and more realistically!)  We all want to do our part by recycling as much as possible, but how to "recycle right" can be confusing especially as things continue to evolve and change with recycling and messaging in the media.  What should you recycle in our area, and what should be left out of the bin?  How do you recycle different items including "hard to recycle" materials?  Bethlehem's Recycling and Composting Director Dan Lilkas-Rain, will help you navigate Bethlehem's new rules and resources, answer the recycling questions you bring, and show examples of what can be recycled and how.  Feel free to bring your own examples of items or materials you have questions about.

This event is open to all ages.  Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
