Event Description:
Enjoy social time with B.H.A. members and friends as you experience the Winter Lights at the Cedar Hill Schoolhouse Museum during our annual Holiday Open House.
Museum displays will be sparkling with lights and holiday decorations. There are two new exhibits: 1940s Bethlehem and Lighting Through the Ages. Enjoy the recently donated Victorian dollhouse created by Anna Uhl. Learn the story of Anna Hoffman Clapper and wonder about Bethlehem’s Rivers, Roads and Rails.
B.H.A. will be highlighting the Bethlehem Community Fund which has been serving Bethlehem residents since 1942. The modern-day charity evolved out of the Bethlehem Community Christmas Festival and Bethlehem Festival Fund. Today monies raised work to fill the gap left by traditional social services. The needs of children and seniors are the focus and each December, over 100 Bethlehem families receive Holiday baskets of food, clothing and gifts.
