Kekeli, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 in the United States dedicated to raising money to assist marginalized groups in Ghana. Kekeli began in 2007 with a focus on a wide variety of human rights issues and activities to address these issues, e.g. children and young adults with disabilities, mothers of children with disabilities, and all those who are victims of discrimination.
Kekeli Foundation was registered in Ghana in 2008 as a related organization to Kekeli, Inc. The Foundation works to create self-advocacy groups to help young people with disabilities recognize their rights, establish mothers groups as a way of encouraging more involvement of their disabled children in their communities, promote the inclusion of people with disabilities within the education system and in society, and use both visual arts and music as a means to achieve greater awareness of human rights issues.
