Event Description:
Hedgeman Law Firm offers a workshop “Legal Checkup for Nonprofits and Religious Organizations.” Bring your legal questions for short 15-minute Q&A sessions with our attorneys and staff. We can offer brief legal guidance to you on issues such as risk management, corporate governance, fundraising, labor and employment, insurance, endowments and invested funds, nonprofit finance, tax-exempt status, incorporation and dissolution, sale of real or personal property and policy drafting.

This checkup is offered for basic, non-complex legal issues and guidance will be limited to fifteen-minute discussions in a Q &A format with other participants. Because questions are being answered in a public forum, attorney-client privilege will not apply and an attorney-client relationship shall not be formed.
