Glenmont’s newest independent senior living community for active adults 55 and older is teaming up with Capital Roots, a local non-profit actively working to provide nutritional and horticultural education to all throughout the Capital Region. Capital Roots will be orchestrating four one-hour gardening workshops that will be held within the gardens at Glenmont Abbey Village. These workshops are a part of Glenmont Abbey Village’s SUN® Program and are open to residents and the public.
Gardeners will learn how to identity crucial signs that indicate the presence of common garden pests and diseases and the necessary actions to prevent pest-damage during the “Solutions to Common Garden Pests and Diseases” workshop.
