Summer Skating Programs

Stay cool this summer with the Albany Figure Skating Club’s summer skating programs. Group skating lessons are being offered on Mondays from 5:40 to 7:40 pm from July 11, 2016 through August 29, 2016 at the Albany County Hockey Facility (830 Albany Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12211). The Learn to Skate program welcomes recreational, figure skaters, and hockey skaters aged preschool to adult. Previous skating experience is not required, and skate rentals are available. Skaters will have a 30 minute group lesson and 30 minutes of supervised practice and can choose from 6- or 8- week options. The Albany Figure Skating Club is also pleased to offer a new Skating Boot Camp for experienced skaters. This is an hour long class designed for skaters who want to develop skating endurance, improve their skating skills, and acquire new skills.
