Winterizing Your Garden

Glenmont’s newest independent senior living community for active adults 55 and older is teaming up with Capital Roots, a local non-profit actively working to provide nutritional and horticultural education to all throughout the Capital Region. Capital Roots will be orchestrating four one-hour gardening workshops that will be held within the gardens at Glenmont Abbey Village. These workshops are a part of Glenmont Abbey Village’s SUN® Program and are open to residents and the public.

“Winterizing Your Garden” covers soil remediation, protecting perennial plants, and techniques that will help improve soil fertility and plant health.
