Apr 2 Ice Skating Lessons
Inspired by the Winter Olympics? Learn how to ice skate this spring with the Albany Figure Skating Club's United States Figure Skating (USFS)-sanctioned Basic Skills program! This program provides ice skating instruction for skaters of all ages, abilities, and interests, and is a fun, safe way to learn the basics of skating or to polish your skating skills. Group skating lessons will be held on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm from March 5, 2014 through April 16, 2014 at the Albany County Hockey Facility (830 Albany-Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12211). Skaters can choose from five week and seven week options. Recreational, figure skaters, and hockey skaters aged preschool to adult are welcome. Skaters will have a 30 minute group lesson and 30 minutes of supervised practice. Specialty classes will be offered in addition to the group lessons, including classes in Learn to Compete and Moves in the Field.
