The Town of Bethlehem Industrial Development Agency (BIDA) has allocated $25,000 to fund a COVID-19 Small Business Emergency Grant Program. The Grant Program was made possible through a temporary program created by the State of New York permitting Industrial Development Agencies to make grants to small businesses and not-for-profits to help those entities weather the economic disaster created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants are to be used to reimburse the costs incurred for the PPE and fixtures necessary to prevent the spread of the disease.

Businesses and not-for-profits that are located in the Town of Bethlehem with no more than 50 full time employees in operation prior to March 7, 2020 are encouraged to apply for reimbursement of up to $500 for purchase/installation of PPE and fixtures, subject to BIDA review and approval at a regularly scheduled monthly meeting. Grants will be awarded until the $25,000 Grant Fund is expended or the program ends on 12/31/2021. Program guidelines and application are available on the IDA website. The BIDA is currently accepting applications.
