Pioneer Bank to Launch the Pioneer Bank Foundation to ‘Help Kids Be Kids’

COLONIE, N.Y. — Pioneer Bank today will launch the Pioneer Bank Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting charitable organizations in the Capital Region that provide important services to children and their families related to education, nutrition, clothing, and housing. 

At the 10 a.m. press conference, Pioneer Bank President and CEO Tom Amell will discuss why the Foundation was created and announce a kickoff of a major fundraising effort. Amell will be joined by New York State Sen. Neil Breslin, New York State Assemblymember Phil Steck, Cares of NY Board President Audra Higgins, and Pioneer Bank Senior Vice President Susan Hollister. 

The Pioneer Bank Foundation will also announce its first fundraising event, the Pioneer Bank Foundation Grand Carnival, at the press conference.
