IT’S OFFICIAL!  The Town of Bethlehem has officially closed on the purchase of 69 acres from the Normanside Country Club.  This land will be combined with an existing Town property to create the Normans Kill Ravines nature park.  At 147 acres, the park is only slightly smaller than Elm Ave Park.  We are currently working with professionals to design a trail network that will open this gorgeous landscape of forests, ravines, wetlands, and riverside to walkers and bikers alike.

Town Supervisor David VanLuven launched this effort two years ago with no idea how hard it would be to complete.  Thanks to Karen Shaw and Jim Potter from the Town, Mark King from the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy Dave Hostig from the Normanside Country Club, and residents Mark Bryant and Gene Primomo for making this conservation success possible!
