Sponsor a Tree--Trimming Contest
Altamont Vineyard and Winery invites families and businesses to create a magical Christmas together! AVW will be collaborating with local families and businesses in the community to create our “Trees of Light Trimming Contest”! Sponsor a tree as a family, in memory of a loved one, or a company tree! Sponsorship entry is $200 per tree.
Starting on the weekend of Nov. 26 and 27 with final prizes awarded on Dec. 18, this a fun opportunity to spend some downtime together. Winners will receive a gift basket with wine and local products valued at $250
The Schedule:
Kick Off Decorating Weekend: Nov. 26 and 27- 11am-5pm
All Decorating Completed and
Tree Lighting Event: Dec. 3 at 4:30pm.
Visit, Celebrate, Enjoy: Dec. 4 and 10, 11, 17
Winner is Announced: December 18 at 1pm
Included in each $200 sponsorship:
-7-8' Tall Christmas Trees with tree stand
-Family name or company logo identification sign
-Utilities for the duration of the event dates outlined
-Two bottles of wine. Select from our Saint Pepin, Rose' or Passione Estate Wines OR Hot Beverages at out Outdoor Bar-Valued at $45.
-Two brick oven pizza's to enjoy!
DECORATIONS: Ornaments should be well made, wind and water-resistant. Avoid using food (i.e., pasta) and paper as ornament decorations, as they will not withstand inclement weather. Keep in mind your tree will be approximately 7-8 feet tall. It is recommended that you have a minimum of 75- 80 imaginative ornaments for your tree.
VOTING: All guests who attend during the December event dates will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite trees. Voting will begin at Noon on Dec. 3 and end at 5 pm on Dec. 17.
AWARDS: A people’s choice award will be awarded and a Judge’s panel will determine the other winner for Best Decorated/Most Creative.
CLOSING OF EVENT: On Dec. 18, our final day of our Trees of Light event, we will announce the winners. If you would like to keep your decorations, please arrange to un-decorate on Dec 18.
All Christmas Tree Sponsor forms and payments must be received by Dec. 3. Decorating dates are November 26 and 27 from 11am – 5pm. All tree decorating must be completed by 4 pm on Dec 3. Tree sponsors will provide all tree LED lights and decorations, equipment and tools to decorate their assigned tree.
